Enewsletter: June 25, 2021

Christine Hogarth, MPP Etobicoke-Lakeshore

I hope you are all ready to enjoy the summer! Thanks to the tireless work of our front-line health care heroes and the record-setting success of the vaccine rollout, we are resuming more outdoor activities, while also allowing some indoor services to have limited numbers of people inside. Starting next Wednesday, June 30th, at 12:01 a.m., Ontario will officially move into Step Two of our reopening plan.

What is even more exciting is that our COVID-19 vaccine rollout is steadily increasing and way ahead of schedule. As of now, nearly 13.5 million Ontarians have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while more than 3.5 million Ontarians are now fully vaccinated. This is a true Team Ontario effort and I am incredibly thankful to the people of Etobicoke-Lakeshore who rolled up their sleeves to help the province reach this exciting milestone.

We are also continuing to accelerate second doses for Ontarians to further protect the health and safety of the province. Beginning the week of June 28th, all Ontarians aged 18 and older who have received their first dose will be eligible to book their second doses using the provincial booking website by clicking here or by calling 1-833-943-3900.

Enjoy the weekend. Happy Canada Day, stay safe!

Greeting Neighbours

This week my team and I had the opportunity to get outside and speak directly with residents at their doors.  It was a great opportunity to hear what the people have to say about current policies and issues that affect them. Looking forward to coming to your neighbourhood soon!
