Important Update on Appointment Bookings for COVID-19 Vaccines

Published on March 09, 2021

Seniors who are born in 1941 or earlier, can now book appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre and St. Michael’s Hospital. This priority population can directly book either online or by phone for appointments from Tuesday, Mar. 9 to Saturday Mar. 13. New appointments will be added every Thursday at 7 p.m.

Currently, these appointments are for those 80 years+. If you or a family member was born in 1941 or earlier you can book your appointment through the Toronto COVID-19 Vaccine Website:

Seniors who are not comfortable booking an appointment online can book their appointment through the Toronto COVID-19 Call Centre: 1-888-385-1910.

Trillium Health Partners (THP) is also accepting pre-registration and appointment bookings for the COVID-19 vaccine for seniors.

  • Yes Etobicoke-Lakeshore is in the catchment area
  • 80+ includes anyone born in 1941 regardless of birth month

You can book your appointment online with Trillium at their website, click here.

Trillium is currently accepting bookings until end of March 2021. If you find that all appointments are booked you have an option to pre-register or you can try again another day. To pre-register with Trillium, click here.

Walk-ins or stand-by appointments are not available at this time, please do not go to a vaccination clinic without a confirmed appointment.

Starting March 15th, the province will launch an online booking system and a provincial customer service desk to answer questions and support appointment bookings at mass immunization clinics. This will initially support individuals 80+ as part of Phase One, eventually extending to more groups during Phase Two. More details will be announced later this week.

This is a team effort, and we will continue to work collaboratively with vaccination sites and other healthcare partners and will share information as soon as it becomes available.
